The Chapleau Cree First Nation Community Trust (the “Trust”) values the trust you place in us when reviewing our content and sharing any information with us from time to time. We make every effort to be transparent about what information we collect, why we collect it, what we do with it and with whom we might share it. In general, the Trust website at iamcree.ca does not take member information and we do not store ‘cookies’ to track your interaction with the site. You, being a Chapleau Cree First Nation member, or not, are open to browsing the information that we make available on the site for your benefit.

If you fill out a “Contact Us” form, we will capture the information that you provide there which may contain personal information that you supply for us to contact you such as an email address and a phone number. Our commitment is to only use this information as it is required to manage your request. We will provide it to marketing agencies or other 3rd parties for any other reason than which you intend us to in the fulfillment of your request.

If you submit a proposal in response to our requests for community projects through our website, more information will be provided. In this case, the information you provide is used solely for our evaluation of your proposal and for follow-up with you on your submission. If your evaluation is shared with others within an evaluation committee, those people will be instructed to comply with these privacy terms.
We do our best to keep your personal information safe, and ensure we use appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
